Teatro P premjera! (VAIKAMS)

Actors and creators Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka are preparing something new, energetic and, as always, full of poetic magic. Although the name of the upcoming performance is still hidden in the creative backstage, and we are still looking for the most appropriate lines on the bookshelves, we know one thing for sure: it will be another live, musical and engaging meeting.
What is this meeting about? Have you ever tried to catch a dream by the tail? And did you know that the spoken word has the power to create entire worlds? In our new play:
Poetry comes alive: We don't believe in boring poetry reading. We believe that a poem can run like a white horse, sprout like a cabbage, or swim like a fire-starting fish.
True stories: The stage will include not only the verses of famous poets, but also our own childhood adventures - the real ones, to be and not to be, which only happen when you are a child.
We decide "here and now": Together with the children, we will dive into a whirlwind of difficult problems and unexpected adventures, which only imagination and a good mood will help to overcome.
Why should you come? The founders of "Teatro P" Balys and Artūras have a unique ability to find a language with modern children. As theater critic Dovilė Zaveckaitė observes, their life and enthusiasm for poetry is contagious. Here the word becomes the most interesting toy, and the stage is a place where nothing is impossible.
Teatro P's mission: To present poetry in such a way that even those who have never read it will leave falling in love with it. Therefore, we welcome everyone - both poetry fans and the biggest skeptics!

* Balys Ivanauskas - actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo Theater, Juoz Miltinis Drama Theater, Kaunas City Chamber Theater, etc.), several performances have been nominated for Golden Stage Crosses.
