Invisible stories

The play "Spektras" invites us to look at the difference of all of us - the ability to see, hear and feel the world in a different way. The play, created on the principles of the "Open Circle" theater laboratory, is based on real people's stories, actors' improvisations born in rehearsals, includes aspects of storytelling, and invites us to stop and see stories that we often overlook. To listen to the voices that we don't hear in everyday life.
Director Justas Tertelis, actors and the entire creative team, while exploring the unique worlds of people living with neurodiversity, invite you to see neurotypical people from a different perspective - to expand your vision and rethink the boundaries of normality. In the play "Spektras" we will experience a whole range of stories that will help dissolve stereotypes about autistic people and get to know the world around us more deeply.
The play is based on Jurgita Žalgirytė-Skurdenienė's and Barbora Suisse's book "Autism - part of me". In this book, perhaps for the first time in Lithuania, the stories of adult autistic people are presented, allowing a better understanding of the everyday life of a person living with autism spectrum disorder - the challenges that arise and ways to overcome them.
