In the interwar period and in the post -war period, the stories related to the interconnected stories, the grandparents, relatives or strangers of the performances themselves, reveal the difficult choices of ordinary Lithuanian populations in a ruthless political situation and a daily struggle for survival. "Rain Land" does not go into accusations or politicized polemics - in the performance, the past touches through fragmented snippets of life stories, embedded in a gentle, non -peculiar patriotism and subtlety.
The actors on the stage, restored and interpreted, are born from the real people who once lived from small details, sounds, gaze or even authentic objects that allow the viewer to feel even closer to the living and breathable past. Human joys and difficulties, happy and unhappy love stories, interpersonal relationships and experiences - elements of every human being and the nation, and are not deleted even in the face of the greatest repression and political change - "rain in the Earth" into a sensitive and personal lesson of non -autonomous history.
