"Black - White" - a performance created by the unique Open Circle method, which continues the tradition of biographical improvisations "Open Circle" and "Rain Land" that have become theater business cards. This performance is the biographical stories of the generation of the Sąjūdis, born and raised during the Sąjūdis period, which coded the breakthroughs and experiences of people who have experienced the fracture of the era.
Life during the Soviet occupation matured people of very different biographies and worldviews: some of them grew up with fear and learned to adapt, others, on the contrary, was raised by the desire to resist the system and the desire to believe that at first glance the unjustified order would be out of the outcome. The Sąjūdis and the independence that followed it became not only political changes, but also during the period of individual choices. Passive observers, risking their own and relatives' safety, and skeptics - all of them, leading their beliefs, found their place in history. Black -white directs an open and personal gaze to this place, and thirty years later and at the distance of the outstretched arm, the creative team of the performance seeks to talk about how different people's choices have formed and still forms the society we live in.
