Monospektaklis "Beveik laimingas"

"Almost happy" is the mono-performance of the independent No Shoes Theater 11-12. students, according to J. Kunčinas' novel "Tūla". The author, playwright and actor R. Klezys, who is also an educator, focuses on communicating with teenagers on topical topics. This is his fourth mono -performance. This time the theme of love was chosen to interpret the novel from the list of compulsory literature. The performance is not intended to literally restore the work of J. Kunčinas. The artistic interpretation was chosen by the format of Lecture-Performance (lecture-showing). The show begins with the "lecture" by presenting documentary details about the circumstances of the authors, the creation of the work, the peculiarities of the time, the map of the work and other facts that enter the context of the work. Subsequently moving to individual scenes from the novel on stage.
The motives of the work, revealing the romantic experiences of the hero, are chosen for the performance. The very title of the performance is attached from an interview with the writer, during which he identifies himself as "almost happy". This phrase is named a documentary about J. Kunčin, whose material is based on the performance. The title contains the drama of passionate love, caused by anxious emotion, when the hero is both happy and unhappy at the same time. This state is close to a young person looking for his or her identity and trying to understand the feelings of first love in his adolescence.
