Dance performance for elementary school children "KURIS KURU"
The play tells about two athletes of different nationalities who meet in competitions of various sports. Everyone wants to be a winner, but success follows one and the other. The play raises the theme of mutual competition. It analyzes how to accept defeat, how not to lose hope and continue to pursue your goal. We are also looking for ways of friendship, reconciliation, and mutual support. The author and director of the show's idea, Ieva Jackevičiūtė, uses the cooperation of dance and sports, where the specifics of different sports, game principles and rules are conveyed through dance. Here, the spectators are not passive observers, they are active participants in the action, where they can become fans, judges or even players.
