In this case, "Forgive me" indicates by its name that the stage is dealing with a psychological drama, although the performance itself is partially adapted and staged based on the play "Top girls", the author of which is one of the most famous actors of the 20th century. late British playwright Caryl Churchill, characterized by psychological dilemmas of women and complex character choices. It is a story about two sisters Joise (played by Svetlana Šulc) and Marlina (played by Tatjana Kuzmickienė), who carry guilt and hurt, and between them is a lonely teenage daughter Aindže (played by Kristina Grūšelionytė).

The camera environment helps sensitively. and to reveal in detail the emotional tension between the two sides of the play, that is, two sisters who come from a poor and violent family, which inevitably left emotional scars in their souls. Unfortunately, a decision made at a fateful time regarding the custody of Ainge, both physically and emotionally, forces one of the sisters to distance herself from her family, but to start a new and successful career in the big city, while the other is left with the burden of caring for the baby, a miserable household and poverty. The actors' skillful balancing between guilt and pain, as well as the sensitively wandering young soul at the epicenter of it all, make the performance like a psychological therapy in which they try to break through the emotional barriers that have been built up over many years. Only which of them will shed their personal ambitions, and which will forgive mistakes that are too painful?

Just as the salt crumbs help to reveal the sweetness of the caramel, so the dramatic and comic comments of the characters help to create a strong dialogue play, which is one of the strongest of this features of the performance.
