Maironi's verses are the rhythm by which today's Lithuanian language lives. Now, just like a couple of centuries ago, the voices of Spring and the love story of Jūratė and Kastytis remain the origins of Lithuanian community and national identity. Resonating among the songs, music, and dance, in the poetic performance BEAUŠTANTI, these verses intertwine into one story about the awakening of our nation. Script author and director: Šviesa ŠULC
