Probably everyone has at least once felt awkward in front of their friends, grandparents or other people while reading a poem, singing a song or telling a story. Sometimes there is so much excitement that all you have to do is tap your foot and say - "I can't, I don't want to, I can't do anything!".
The performance of the clown duo Ži and Pau is just for those who have experienced such a feeling at least once. In this engaging story, Ži and Pau will help you understand that there is nothing to worry about: we are all unique as we are. Someone can sing, someone can dance, someone can stand on their head, and someone can do another thing, not at all like any of these. All of this is worth your five seconds of fame, and a true friend will always lend a hand to help you bravely step onto your stage. After all, you are completely sufficient and special just the way you are!
Told in a lively, sensitive and expressive form of clowning, the story touches on deep and significant themes with openness and lightness, using elements of physical theatre, acrobatics, magic and direct interaction with the audience.
What will we talk about?
- About uniqueness and otherness. Often, realizing that we are different from everyone else (taller, shorter, faster or slower, curly or straight), we want to change, identify ourselves so that no one notices our differences and forget that our otherness can be a value. The characters of the play understand that only by daring to empower one's own peculiarities does one become the best version of oneself. It is this message that we will invite the spectators of the performance to take away!
- About empathy and respect for others. The show evocatively presents the possible differences between people, reveals the power and advantages of otherness, thus encouraging not only pride in one's own uniqueness, but also respect and empathy for others who are not necessarily the same as us.
What will we do?
- Let's take off our shoes. Prepare your favorite socks - in the "Pradžia" theater, shoes stay outside the hall.
- We will laugh, clap, and if we want to - cry, but we will not prevent others from enjoying the performance, we will chat and share our impressions after it ends.
p>- We will take pictures and film not during the performance, but after it ends. After the performance, we invite all the little ones and their parents to chat with the actresses.
