The creative group of Ingmar Bergman's "Autumn Sonat" explores the complex relationship between people. Each character has suffered peculiar life injuries that prevent moving forward. This is another performance of Vytautas Rumšas and his like -minded people - actors with great stage experience, Dalia Storyk, Adrija Čepaitė, Saulius April, pianist Monika Palšauskaitė based on Ingmar Bergman's work. This production is the third part of the trilogy of performances: the first two parts "Intimate Conversations" and "Stage from Married Life" at the National Drama Theater. The performance "Autumn Sonata" takes the viewer to a difficult meeting of the mother and daughter many years later, the world of their experiences, old grief, unspoken thoughts, emotions. Here, love and tenderness intertwine with pain and betrayal. This performance is also the history of husband and wife, which raises many questions: who I am, what I seek, what I give to another. Words reflecting the essence of the performance: Eva (Adrija Čepaitė): "I need to learn to live, I learn it every day. The biggest obstacle is that I don't know who I am, I walked, like a blind person. Victor (Saulius Balandis): "I would like to tell her that the person nearby, that I love, adore her without any reservations. I try to find the words she would believe, but I can't find them, I can't find them." "Being an adult means being able to control your dreams and hopes and no longer have anything. Charlotte (Dalia Storyk): "I hardly remember my childhood and I don't remember that my parents would have hugged me and kiss me. I didn't know anything about love or what is tenderness, caress. to another, to show tenderness. ” Following the premiere of the performance, theaterologist Daiva Šabasevičienė wrote: "Family drama, whose intensity is concentrated in human psychology, is all the most interesting in a person, very carefully analyzed in this performance." The Autumn Sonata was read as a poetic verse on a fun winter evening. In the 1980s, when Eimuntas Nekrošius, a bright memory at the Youth Theater, just before the New Year was a daunting premiere. This time, after leaving the home of Nekrošius, these memories came to life. Much has changed in the theater, but the creators found a way and strength to bring back what seems to have been lost. ”
