In 1996, the young, little -known British playwright Mark Ravenhillo, the Bomba Bomba, exploded in European theaters under the title of Shopping and Fucking. The Oscar Koršunov Theater was born with the performance of the same name. Today, the play "Shopping and Fucking" returns to the Lithuanian stage in the interpretation of the youngest generation of creators. Now that, when it is increasingly difficult to surprise the viewer on the topics discussed in the play, the essential question of the play remains relevant: is there space for true feelings in today's society? - says director Jonas Kuprevičius.
The talented youngest generation actors who create memorable roles in the performance tell about their generation - dependent and playing, lost and sensitive, traumatized and seeking their place, friendship, human closeness in the hypocritical consumer society of our time.
The performance is shown in cooperation with the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater.
