According to the well-known Lithuanian film director Ignos Jonynas, who staged the play after a break of almost twenty years, one of the essential themes of the work is how our ego unbalances not only us, but also those around us. In pursuit of his own happiness and goals, he can destroy the lives of others, even when he feels that he is a relatively moral person. Knowing how to co-exist and hold on to the dangerously moving scales of life so that you don't catch and drop the one next to you is a difficult task in life.
