A year ago, Oscar Koršunov, director of the Vilnius Small Theater, presented the first step of the play "Kant". The sketch soon received interest and the audience's sympathy. In the play "Kantas", the playwright continues the theme of historical personalities at the Vilnius Small Theater. The work, along with the performances "Madagascar" and "Mistras", will become a kind of trilogy. Having brought together a well -known director Oscar Koršunovas, who, together with Marius Ivaškevičius, has created a number of great work at the Vilnius Small Theater.
The play goes to 1784. Königsberg. In Prussia, November. There is a sense that society will survive significant social changes. The Great French Revolution is already filled with the back. Following the usual ritual to eat a longer lunch in a male company, the philosopher sits for lunch. This time, however, to eat as if never to be severely disturbed by the time of peace that a person lives with. Men's disorder is further enhanced by the invading niece of an old Kant buddy. She comes from Scotland, drowned in the fog and wants the philosopher to sign "Criticism of the Pure Mind."
The play is dedicated to the environment of the philosopher Immanuel Kant, which observed not only thinking but also lifestyle. The philosopher of his most prominent work "Criticism of the Pure Mind" was set to almost an impossible mission of exploring the boundaries of the mind and creating solid foundations for metaphysics, which was considered necessary and inevitable in the world of that time. By studying the possibilities of the mind, the philosopher creates one of the most impressive works in the history of mankind. Unlike the complex and confusing thinking of Kant, the performance is presented by an engaging and witty, and even continues the philosopher's own project by "exploring" the dramatic form itself.
