And yet, the topics touched here are no less relevant and important today. According to the performance director Ž. Vingel is a kind of tale for adults about dream and reality, relationships and family, careerism, overshadowing the latter: "Cocteau behaves here as a careful juggler, creating a world that has no truth and dreams turn into real." The play storyline combines the traditions of classical theater, surrealism, Dadaism and visual arts. The reality blends with the dream, and the main themes of life and death, creative ambitions and personal happiness are revealed.
