Vilnius Chamber Theater presents an international project - director from Poland, artistic director of the Białystok Puppet Theater Jacek Malinowski created the play "After the mushroom" for Lithuanian children and their parents based on the play of the famous Polish playwright Marta Guśniowska.
Do animals go to heaven after death? Only writers, dreamers, poets and philosophers know the answer to this question. Or such unique people as playwright Marta Guśniowska, who created the play "Under the Mushroom", a fun, fantasy and playful story about the adventures of forest foxes. The main character of the play - young Lapiukas - does not agree that his uncle, his life teacher, must be taken away by Mirtis. The little daredevil begins to argue and negotiate with Mrs. Death herself.
The talented artist is convinced that a true work of art builds a bridge of love between the world of the living and the dead. And what is especially important - Marta Guśniowska knows how to tell children understandably and wittily about what parents sometimes avoid or do not know how to tell them about.
Our performance "After the mushroom" is intended for the whole family and all curious little people, to the theater to those who come with an open heart, ready to find the answer to the most important questions about love, friendship and death, life and death. In this theatrical adventure full of discovery, beauty and amazing experiences, the audience will meet the most colorful group of forest inhabitants. Giedrė Brazytė, one of the most famous Lithuanian theater artists, created the most colorful costumes for four little girls, a deer, a duck, a hedgehog and even Mrs. Death herself.
