Based on Renata Mucha's poetry for children / a performance with socks
The show is a game for the whole family
"Casualties sometimes take over:
A flower was a hornet in a snake's belly.
It stung terribly. Here it is.
The slug is justifiably worried."
Children, sitting in the middle of the field, get caught up in the whirlwinds of the lives of all these characters happening around them. As in a human community, it is full of all kinds of events, happenings, meetings and problems. In the course of the performance-game, small spectators can actively participate in one way or another. The play "The Fly" is based on the poetess Renata Mucha's children's books "Iželtas žaltys", "Geras badas oras" and others.
Director Agnė Sunklodaitė: "This is a play about a community where very different, colorful and strange characters live: Camel, Octopus family, Hippopotamus, Snail, Stinger, Hedgehog, Calaitė, hurt by the sign "Angry dog" and others. Musė is born in that community - a curious, cheerful, creative person who tries to get to know the world around her, its laws, strangeness, joys and injustices. Finally, Moose realizes that the world is a complicated, but interesting and wonderful place if you are able to notice not only yourself, your desires and problems, but also those around you. Will we answer all the questions that the little viewer has? Not really. Our goal is to raise those questions, it is important for us that children talk to their parents after the performance. Maybe they would notice the same snails, hedgehogs or snakes in the life around them, maybe they would think about their relationships with friends, neighbors, about the fact that the world is full of very different creatures (not only people) and we are all responsible for each other. I would recommend the play "The Fly" to children aged 4-8 and their parents."
