In the performance, everyone will find their favorite version of Cinderella, although everything will start as usual. Here you will meet a kind-hearted widower and his daughter, a sweet and kind girl. Unfortunately, the widower will marry an insolent and angry lady with two daughters who look a lot like their mother. The stepmother will force her stepdaughter to live in the attic, sleep in a bed on straw, and do the hardest and dirtiest jobs. And she usually sits on the ash box by the fireplace, which is why the "sisters" nicknamed her Cinderella. But one day real miracles began to happen, leading Cinderella to the fateful feast in the king's palace...
Charles Perrault (Charles Pero) (1628-1703) - French writer, storyteller, poet and critic. He wrote allegorical poems, odes, poems. Having written fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Puss in Boots, Donkey Skin, Cinderella, Bluebeard, etc. Operas and ballets have been created based on the plots of fairy tales. The most famous of them: G. Rossini's opera "Cinderella", B. Bartok's opera "Bluebeard's Castle", P. Tchaikovsky's ballet "Sleeping Beauty". And the tale "Puss in Boots" has been made into popular films and publications for children many times. Ch. Perrault was a prolific writer, but almost none of his works (with the exception of fairy tales) have survived. Ch. Thanks to Perrault, folk tales entered the "high" literature. His tales influenced not only world literature. They mark the beginning of the fairy tale tradition. After Ch. Perrault's tradition was followed by the Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen, and others.
