Low-level cabaret "Low Life" is an exclusive production of the famous and recognized British puppetry company Blind Summit Theatre, where puppet theater transcends traditional boundaries and reveals the reality of people who exist on the margins of life. The play's script is inspired by the work of the famous American writer Charles Bukowski - his verses and prose, full of nihilism, irony and melancholy.

In this show, the audience encounters various characters who live on the fringes of society: lonely drunkards, lost gamblers, tired writers who live in a hopeless everyday life, but at the same time have not lost their sense of sarcastic humor. Their stories, both sad and absurdly funny, are told through the unique aesthetic of Blind Summit Puppet Theatre.

Blind Summit Theater is an internationally acclaimed company known for its innovative approach to puppetry. They use table top puppetry and Western-adapted Japanese bunraku techniques, when puppets are controlled by several actors, giving them unique expressions and plasticity of movements. In Low Life, these animation techniques intertwine with live actors, physical theater and expressive visual solutions, thanks to which a hypnotic, surreal stage world is created.
