The action of the play takes place at night, so the story is created by light and shadows. And all the countries visited by the characters are prototypes of the countries described in Gulliver's Travels by the Irish writer Jonathan Swift (1667-1745).
According to the director Milda Mičiulytė, who is making her debut with this play "Lėlėja", in 2019 After graduating from the director's course led by Eimuntas Nekrošias at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater: "With this performance, we want to show and remind children and their parents that the best time is not in the past or the future, but "now". In addition, by choosing the form of a theater within a theater, we want to help children understand that any game, even with the simplest objects, can be interesting with the help of imagination and, at the same time, encourage parents to talk to their children more often in a language they understand, games, language..."
