"I am listening, Your Majesty!" is an interactive performance based on and inspired by the 20th century. Ave. "Kralius Maciuś Pierwszy" (Polish: Król Maciuś Pierwszy) of the fairy tale of pedagogue innovator, doctor, child protector Janusz Korczak. The hero of the play is a child named Motiejukas, who unexpectedly becomes the king. He is not only a king, but also an ordinary child who is still alien to the attitudes and values of the adult world. After becoming a ruler, Motiejukas faces dilemmas and challenges, because he is surrounded by the world of adults, where injustice, questionable decisions, and empty ambitions are common. In order to be a good king, he builds diplomatic relations, solves the economic issues of the kingdom, rules as a child understands it. Unfortunately, the neighboring countries take advantage of his "immature" attitude and declare him the war he least wanted. Motiejukas faces internal political intrigues and other troubles. The show is inclusive, open, inviting to co-create, allows the most important viewer - the child - not only to observe, but also to solve issues together with the main character, to learn citizenship, to take responsibility. Identifying with King Motiejukas is an experience that encourages thinking, and not just "consuming" the story. The show does not have a predetermined plot - it changes depending on what the audience chooses. Both children and parents become directors of the play. "We wanted to create an interactive performance in which children would feel the power to control the actors and the entire course of the scene. J. Korczak's work itself serves well in teaching the young audience to take responsibility for their actions." (Oskar Wyganowski)
"I am listening, Your Majesty!" for me it's a return to childhood, to the playground, when you could imagine what you wanted, create your own world, and make your own decisions in it. Theater has always been a playground for me. It's like a computer game where the further course of the game depends on your decision. It's a young person's journey to the country of adults." (Kamilė Petrushkevičiūtė)
"This work is dense and multi-faceted, the most important thing was to find a clear axis, important for the entire creative team. It became friendship, responsibility and diplomacy - topics that are relevant not only for children, but also for adults. For me, dramaturgy here is not only a structure, but also a form of trust: trust in a child as a thinking person. It is an invitation to ask questions, take risks, make mistakes, learn, reflect. The play was born from the desire to be with children, next to them, not above them." (Edita Rudak)

Janusz Korczak (real name Hersz Goldszmit) (1878/1879? - 1942) was a Jewish Polish writer, publicist, physician, public figure, educational innovator, and author of publications on educational theory and practice. A pioneer who took steps to defend children's rights and equality. He was also one of the first to conduct research in the field of child development, psychology and parenting diagnostics. Founded the first weekly magazine ("Mažoji Review"), published from material sent by children and intended mainly for readers of children's age. While practicing as a doctor, he created dramas, signing his essays under the pseudonym Janusz Korczak. Due to his original views and professionalism, Mr. Korczak quickly became famous in wide circles of society. He was killed in 1942. In the Treblinka concentration camp. J. Korczak wrote his famous book of fairy tales for children "Karalius Motiejukas Primus" back in 1923. It began like all fairy tales: "Once upon a time there lived a good old king, whose throne was inherited by his younger son after his death. Since the boy's mother was also dead, little Motiejuk had no one to love him..." This story is not only about an orphan and his becoming an adult, it is also a testimony of what happened after the First World War - corruption, greed, cynicism, injustice. The character Motiejukas the First is often compared to Peter Pan, Pinocchio, etc. in terms of his meaning and popularity. Oskar Wyganowski - actor, 2016 graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (course director Oskaras Koršunovas). After graduating, he worked in various Lithuanian theaters, as a theater teacher in Vilnius schools. Together with the actors Kamile Petruškevičiūta and Raimonda Klezis in 2023. won the competition "Open space", for which the performance "Klausau, Your Majesty!" was created.
