The "dilettante" evaluated by professional stage art critics and international festivals is characterized by different media montage, almost visual expression and an engaging dreamy atmosphere. It is one of the most spectacular works of last season, which holds the 20th century. The first half of the art history, the extravagant personality of Jean Cocteau, the unexpected media solutions and the charming character of the dilettant, embodied by the winner of the three Golden Stage Crosses Airida Gintautaitė.
The work freely improvises motifs from Jean Cocteau's work. The material of the performance becomes Cocteau itself - difficult to cover, hardly fully understood a personality whose dilettanism in different fields of art has cast, as fragments of extremely thick poetic world are incomplete, uncompressed, hasty, not reminiscent, unlike anything.
The performance invites viewers to the world of Cocteau, where the artistic boundaries disappear, giving the viewer a unique opportunity to experience a multifaceted art synthesis and encourage the audience to think about the limits and opportunities of artistic experimentation. The Cocteau phenomenon is conveyed through modern technologies and different ways of theatrical expression: media art, animation, dramatic acting, mechanized scenography, doll, objects and shadows, audio manipulations and other means of contemporary theater. In the creative process, the creators of the performance used artificial intelligence, smart sound fake and motion capture technology.
