ABOUT THE SEMINAR:
We noticed an interesting thing: mothers with the same problems solve them in different ways.
The World Health Organization recommends breastfeeding up to 2 years, but there are women who breastfeed even longer, and some stop breastfeeding after a year.
Both physically and emotionally, the healthiest weaning is when the baby decides to give up the breast. However, this does not mean that the mother must breastfeed the child for as long as he wants.
During the seminar, we will advise how to stop breastfeeding, because each mother decides individually when she wants to do it. The decision to wean should be made by the whole family - the word of the father is also very important.
If you need to encourage weaning before the baby is ready, it is certainly possible to do it gently and with love. We will talk about how to do it as comfortably as possible, without traumatizing the baby and the mother.
The duration of the seminar is 2 hours.
The seminar is led by lecturer Natalja Bartkevičienė, a certified breastfeeding consultant.
