Workshop Description:
I invite you to an exclusive workshop of old photography portraits that will use the 19th century. Photography technique is a process of wet colodia.
During this slow, handmade process, light and silver respond to each other on glass or aluminum plate, leaving a unique, unit image.
Everyone who comes will not only be able to photograph a historic dumping camera, but also watch a whole magic process: from the preparation of a light -sensitive surface to the "emergence" of photography. It is an opportunity to experience how people were photographed more than a century ago, and to create handmade artwork that will withstand all the challenges of time. The portrait created with this technique is not only a photo, but also a trace of time, a true work of art, a stamp of light that appeared during a chemical reaction.
Each participant will take his original portrait of wet colodia.
