We invite you on August 29. to Tauragė - to enjoy the still green nature, the last evenings of summer and actively accompany the ending summer by walking through the city streets and picturesque surroundings of Tauragė. A cozy atmosphere, a combination of nature and the city, new discoveries and kilometers await you, which will accompany you in a meaningful and active summer.

🌄 We have prepared 3 routes
Choose one of three routes - 10 km, 17 km or 27 km. Each of them will allow you to see different corners of Tauragė and experience the city at your own pace.

🏞️ What will you see during the hike?

The start will begin in the very heart of the city - Pilies Square, from where you will embark on a journey through the greenest and most pleasant places of Tauragė. The route will lead you through Atgimimo Square, where the city's history and today's rhythm intertwine, and you will continue through Jonas Viktoras Kalvans Park and Kartų Park - spaces of peace and relaxation in the center of the city.

During the trip, you will enjoy a walk along the picturesque coast of the Jūras river, where nature and the city panorama merge into one. The road will also lead to Tauragė's summer stage and cozy church squares, and on the route you will also see one of the most important symbols of the city - Tauragė's St. Trinity Church.

Further, the hike will move to calmer areas surrounded by nature - you will travel through Taurai forest, filled with the freshness of pine forests, and the route will be crowned by the Sea Park, inviting you to stop for a while, take a breather and enjoy the natural beauty of Tauragė.

Participants of all routes will be able to take a breather, have a snack and refresh themselves in the prepared at the rest points.

The participants of the long course will have lunch at a military porridge

Routes

10 km - easy, suitable for those looking for a more leisurely walk.
The time to complete the course is about 2-3 hours.
The course will stretch through the city area with asphalt, sidewalks, pedestrian paths and city in the parks.
Not suitable for strollers, as the course has stairs.

17 km - moderate, for those who want a slightly more intense hike.
Course time about 4-5 hours.
(35% of the course on gravel and forest paths, 65% on asphalt and sidewalks).
Not suitable with strollers, because there are stairs on the route.

27 km - difficult, intended for experienced hikers who are not afraid of challenges and want to fully immerse themselves in the adventure. The time to cover the track is about 6-7 hours. (40% of the course on gravel and forest paths, 60% on asphalt and sidewalks). Not suitable for wheelchairs.
