February 21 at 5 p.m. in the concert hall "Saulė" in Šiauliai, an exceptional evening of classical music awaits the listeners. Internationally acclaimed pianist Bernhard Ruchti (Switzerland) will appear on stage together with the "Camerata Solaris" Šiauliai City Symphony Orchestra, led by artistic director and conductor Vilhelm Čepinskis.

Bernhard Ruchti is a pianist, organist, composer and music researcher, famous in the late 19th century. knowledge of music performance traditions, with special attention to historical tempo and music structure. His interpretations are characterized by intelligence, inner tension and expressive artistic language.

The concert will feature two outstanding pieces of the piano repertoire. At the beginning of the evening, the pianist will perform Franz Liszt's Piano Sonata solo - a monumental, philosophically deep and technically extremely complex work, considered one of the most important piano masterpieces of the Romantic era.

In the second part of the concert, the audience will hear Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor is a dramatic, emotional and unusually dark work by the composer, in which the piano part delicately dialogues with the orchestra.

The musical event of the concert will be coordinated by conductor Vilhelmas Čepinskis, and the evening's program and performers will be presented to the listeners by concert host Raimonda Sližienė.

This concert is an invitation to experience classical music at the highest artistic level, where romantic passion, classical balance and contemporary depth of interpretation meet.
