You can all predict that Sweden will be represented by a song from the legendary ABBA, and Portugal will be asking for Salvador Sobral's mega-hit Amor Pelos Dois, but not everything on a musical trip around the world is so easily predicted.

Dainotas Varnas chose the works very thoughtfully: they are all very well known, but quite a few of them also hide a surprise.

Did you know that Metallica's famous hit "Whiskey in the Jar" is actually an Irish folk song first made famous by The Dubliners? Can you imagine that the famous "Guantanamera" is from Cuba, and the poem based on its words was composed in the 9th century? Have you heard how Frank Sinatra's legendary song "My Way" sounds in Spanish? It was performed by the legendary Gipsy Kings. It was their version that D. Varnas added to the program.

"It will be the most diverse linguistically and culturally, the most beautiful musically and, I'm not even afraid to say, my best program. We can already hear how wonderful it sounds while rehearsing," said D. Varnas.

The Around the World in 100 Minutes program lasts approximately one hour and forty minutes. It is not only a concert, but also a theatrical performance, accompanied by a specially created scenography, light effects, and multimedia. "We make decorations for the stage, and we create a light show for each country's song according to the colors of its flag," the singer reveals a small part of the future visuals.
