Soloist Eglė Vakarinaitė is a professional jazz vocalist and vocal teacher. The owner of a deep and memorable voice has performed in Latvia, Spain, Portugal, with the Lithuanian jazz legend Petras Vyšniauskas, who organized performances at the Expo Exhibition at Saragos, Kaunas Jazz festival and other events.
The singer's voice also sounds in movies and pop music - she has recorded songs with the band G&G Syndicate, electronic music stars Happyendless, Sinstation and other performers. She also participated in the Musical TV project "I Sing Lithuania", organized a series of successful concerts with the Musica Humana chamber ensemble, performs in Lithuanian jazz festivals and clubs with its Jazz Between the Sheeets, and this year with its own group Jazz.
Archi Quartett is a well -known string quartet on the Lithuanian scene for over 18 years with the roots of members in classical music, but the team is successfully experimenting with other genres, from jazz to rock. From big festivals to cozy chamber events - the quartet's music has been played in many Lithuanian scenes, collaborating with musicians of various genres, from opera soloists to popular music singers.
Quartet members Vitalija Makrickienė (violin), Ginta Kriščiūnaitė (violin), Mantas Makrickas (Altas) and Mykolas Rutkauskas (cello) - winners of international and national competitions, graduates of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater Symphony Orchestra.
This time, as many as eight professional musicians will create a special sound on the stage - pianist Simas Minkevičius, double bassist Dainius Rudvalis and percussionist Almantas Puidokas will be performed with the Egle Western and Archi Quartett concert.
