Voice + Body is an experiential event that combines movement, breath, voice and live music.
The January 24 meeting will begin with a gentle yoga practice. The practice is designed to wake up the body, open the breath and prepare the voice for action. Through conscious movement and attention to the senses, space will be created for the voice to sound freely. Yoga practice will be led by yoga professional Gintarė Frišmantaitė.
In the second part of the event, a musical workshop will take place. They will be led by opera soloist and vocal teacher Charlotte Kilsch. She will share best voice practices and help everyone discover their own voice in a different way. We will work with the body, breathing, sound. We will end this practice with a common song.
The event is intended for those who want to:

Bring your own yoga mat and water. Dress comfortably for sports/leisure. Doors open at 10:30. Starts at 11:00. Duration about 1.5 hours. The event will take place in the DOMUS MARIA Great Hall. A historic space with impressive arches and frescoes, natural acoustics that enhance the experience of voice, body and live music.
