21st Century Quintet - A progressive jazz music group consisting of five young, talented and phenomenal members. They are very active and famous in the Lithuanian cultural world of music, participating in both foreign and Lithuanian scenes. The group met in 2019. At the beginning of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, while the drummer Mihairs Novikovs exam, the competition "Jazz Scene" organized by Kaunas Jazz Festival, and later participating in Kaunas Jazz Festival. Since then, the quintet has begun actively participating in the country's jazz festivals and concerts.
During its six years of life, the quintet performed at festivals such as: Vilnius Jazz, Vilnius Mama Jazz, Elektrėnai Jazz Youth, Klaipeda Castle Jazz Festival, Vievis Jazz Kirks, Utena Perkusian and Jazz Festival Jazz Cellar 11, the most famous Lithuanian jazz club. 2024. The group entered the final of the Euroradia Jazz Competition, which took place in Marshak, 2025. On the occasion of the 21st Century Quintet National Jazz Day, the concert was broadcast on LRT RADIO, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Armenia. The quintet also participated in foreign jazz festivals such as Jazz Fest (Norway), Jazz'chisinu (Moldova) and Guoyu Pa Jazz (Latvia).
In March last year (2024), the quintet released his first album called "On Ararat", inspired by Armenian folk, progressive jazz, rock, fusion Jazz and blues elements. 2025 The group released two singles: Footprint and Annuncient Shoror.
The collective does not stop creating and searching for a unique sound in their work, actively performing in both Lithuania and foreign scenes.
