So far, music has been a delicious spice of poetic events, we took those spices from all poetic events and added them to a new dish - our concert!
Artūras Dubaka and Balys Ivanauskas will perform all their favorite songs created in the last ten years. A good evening - guaranteed.
Teatras P is a troupe of professional artists, which started its first steps in 2010, creating performances of poetic action for children and young people, where Lithuanian poetry intertwines with autobiographical stories of actors, and live music. Performances are usually shown in non-traditional spaces: libraries, assembly halls, courtyards, galleries, where exactly this genre (poetic event) is best revealed. The mission is to bring poetry to those who don't read it. Performances are characterized by playfulness, humor and an authentic connection with the audience.
About the developers:
* Balys Ivanauskas - actor, director, actively working in several Lithuanian theaters (Stalo Theater, Juoz Miltinis Drama Theater, Kaunas City Chamber Theater, etc.), several performances have been nominated for Golden Stage Crosses. The creator is also engaged in pedagogical activities - he teaches stage language to visual theater students. Founder of Theater P.
* Artūras Dubaka - actor, composer, songwriter and performer, who won several awards for his work. In addition to working in the theater, he is also a member of the Clown Doctors organization. Founder of Theater P.
The mission of "Teatro P" is to present poetry in such a way that even those who don't read it will like it, so we welcome not only poetry lovers, but also non-poetry lovers!
