After selling out the tickets for the first concert in the dark, we are announcing the opportunity to participate in an ADDITIONAL concert - February 7, 5:00 p.m.
Violinist Monika Urbonaitė and pianist dr. Eglė Kižytė-Ramonienė again invites you to a concert where music is played in complete darkness. It is a unique experience, because in the dark visual disturbances disappear, sounds become clearer and the imagination draws its own landscapes. It is an opportunity to experience music in a different way, to be alone with it.
The first such concert took place back in June - the audience was brought into the completely darkened club hall with blindfolds, so the unusual experience began before the music even started! After this concert, the audience shared positive impressions:
"I realized how to really listen to music."
"I dreamed of music."
"I was alone with music for the first time."
The program includes masterpieces of baroque, classical and romantic music: G. F. Telemann, G. F. Hendel, F. Kreisler, C. Debussy, E. Elgar, C. Frank.
After the concert, the light will gradually return, and with it, an opportunity to chat with the performers and other guests and share your experience!
***
Important: in order to ensure the quality of the event and complete darkness in the hall, upon arrival we will ask you to put your smart devices (phones, smart watches) in a special bag with your name on it, which the club staff will place in a safe place during the event. You will also receive a blindfold, which you will need to put on before entering the hall (you will be escorted to it and taken to the place by the responsible persons). The blindfold must be returned after the event.
