"Mallorka Preludes: Live" is a theatrical piano recital presenting the program of pianist Eglė Andrejevaitė's debut album "Reflections Op. 28: Mallorca Preludes". In it, Frédéric Chopin's preludes are combined with the works of contemporary Spanish composers, creating a coherent musical narrative.
This is not a traditional piano recital - the program complements the music with textual interludes and light dramaturgy, allowing the listener to experience the works as a coherent, emotionally coherent artistic structure. After the internationally acclaimed debut album "Reflections Op. 28: Mallorca Preludes" and concerts in Anykščiai, Paris, Brussels and Biršton, pianist Eglė Andrejevaitė invites you to the final concert of the international concert tour "Mallorca Preludes: Live" in Vilnius St. Catherine's Church.
The basis of the program is one of the most significant pieces of piano music, Fryderyk Chopin's Prelude Op. 28, and twelve works-reflections by contemporary Spanish composers commissioned by the Valdemosa Chopin Festival. This original dramaturgical concept creates a dialogue between the 19th and 21st centuries, between the romantic tradition and contemporary creativity.
The album "Reflections Op. 28: Mallorca Preludes" was released by the international classical music publishing company "Challenge Records International". It received international attention and was presented in the programs of the national broadcasters of Lithuania, Germany, France and Italy.

The program has its origins in the monastery of Valdemosa in Mallorca, the place where Frédéric Chopin composed most of his legendary preludes. It was there that the sheet music publication "24 Preludis per a Frédéric Chopin" became the inspiration for the album and the concert program presented today to the Lithuanian and European audiences.
Vilnius Šv. The concert in St. Catherine's Church will be the culmination of the entire international tour - a return to the city where the album was recorded and where its artistic idea was consistently matured.
