This piano music evening is a special dedication to two prominent twentieth century. For the beginning of the beginning of the 19th century, Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis and Maurice Ravel-the 150th birth anniversary of which is celebrated this year by Lithuanian and world music lovers. This is also reflected in the concert program, where the work of both masters will be performed alongside other piano pieces. The program will also be supplemented by the music of contemporaries, Johannes Brahms and Fryderyk Chopin, which will allow listeners to feel different stylistic drawings of the authors of that time.

The evening program in Vilnius, the Palace of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, will be performed by pianist Jan Krzysztof Broja, one of the most prominent Polish pianists today with a broad stylistic horizon and a masterful improvisational talent that will demonstrate at the end of the concert.
This event is part of the concert cycle "Ciurlioniada. Piano and Organ Music Evenings" program. The Center for International Cultural Projects invited the winners of the international M. K. Čiurlionis organists and pianists to the Lithuanian capital on this special occasion to the Lithuanian capital, members of the commission and invited guests. In addition to the organizer's own organ and piano, new, inspired works inspired by Čiurlionis' creative work, developed by fragments of his works or the topics, improvisations, newly prepared and long -created arrangements and contemporaries.
