This excursion-tasting is intended for those interested in Lithuanian interwar cuisine.
1 hour is waiting for you. excursion around the Temporary capital (Žaliakalnis), after which 1.5-2 hours. tasting at the restaurant "Park Avenue" (Perkūno al. 4, Kaunas) and a story about the cuisine of that era, famous people's favorite dishes, the eating habits of the aristocracy, the everyday life of restaurants and cafes.
We will be staying in the building - Perkūno al. 4 - in the former residence of the German envoy during the interwar period. Therefore, it is not surprising that the tasting menu was chosen according to what the last emissary who resided here - E. Zechlin - liked to treat the guests. Thomas, grandson of the messenger, who visited us, gave us a lot of valuable information.
The tour starts at the Kaunas sports hall (Perkūno al. Perkūno al. 5). The excursion route will lead us through the streets of Žaliakalnis until it leads to "Park Avenue" (Perkūno al. 4).

During the tasting we will taste:
