In the heart of the old town of Klaipėda, near the XIX century. late 20th century the forges of Gustav Kacke (1868–1944), which operated in the first half, in 1992 the Museum of Blacksmithing was opened.

Here you will see a decorative fragment of the door of the Radvil crypt of the Lithuanian nobles from the King's Cathedral, authentic blacksmith's tools, bellows, anvil, forged weather vanes characteristic of the port city, 19th century. late 20th century iron crosses and cemetery fences of the first half from the old city cemetery (now Sculpture Park).

In the authentic environment of the forge, with the help of museum staff, you can make a Baltic ornament (NOTE: this service is temporarily unavailable).
