16th International Contemporary Art Fair ArtVilnius'25
ArtVilnius is the largest international contemporary art fair in the Baltic States. The three -day event combines contemporary art creators, galleries, art institutions, collectors and art fans.
The International Art Fair on October 3-5 will present a topical and progressive contemporary art scene, inviting meetings with the most interesting Lithuanian and foreign galleries, artists, curators and representatives of art institutions. About 70 art galleries and institutions from more than 20 countries around the world participate in the fair every year.
The ArtVilnius'25 theme is "Collecting in the Baltic States". The topic will unfold in the educational programs of the fair. ArtVilnius Talks will be held lectures, meetings and conversations with collectors, and the most interesting private and institutional collections of contemporary art from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will be presented in the fair project area. The program is organized by as many as three curators-the curator and playwright of the exhibitions, the head of the 60th Venice Art Biennial Estonian Pavilion, Maria Aruso, Curator of the International Exhibitions from Latvia Inga Lāce and Lithuanian, ArtVilnius'25 Fair, curator of international exhibitions. All three of this year are also curated by the traditional exhibition of sculptures, installations, performances "The Takas". The fair is organized by a strong team of experts, whose main purpose is to invite world art to Lithuania and open its doors to Lithuanian art into the world.
The young collector's stand returns to the fair, educational programs organized by art schools will be held, and tours with art critics will be held. The International Contemporary Art Fair ArtVilnius'25 in Vilnius, the Litexpo Exhibition and Conference Center, October 3-5. The event is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture, the Vilnius City Municipality, the patron - the COBALT law firm, the Eika Group.
The entrance of animals to the fair is prohibited.
