About the pipe and us **
People around
Not suspected
that they around them
Everyone thinks
that he is in the center
and others around
S. Brill
It is a performance about people and their lives that have a variety of things, sometimes not quite pleasant, but there is nothing to beautify here, though sometimes they want.
And you want to say about the performance itself that it will be like a kaleidoscope where colorful fragments of life are constantly changing. Through poetry, music and dance, we will explore the universities of the human being: love and hatred, joy and sadness, hope and frustration. What is true anyway. Or that the poems will become our guides leading through the labyrinths of life, looking for answers to eternal questions, which is true, but we better ask all these truths in a straight light. Why the pipe?
We answer:
We are all like a tube - empty, clogged, stiff, infinitely long, connecting thousands of people, or short and rarely used, metal, plastic, fresh water or slurry - the pipe constantly flowing something - water, air, information, life.
The creators of the performance Balys Ivanauskas and Artūras Dubaka, who have been creating poetic events for twelve years, are offering a whole new experience this time. Although it is customary for them to get on stage themselves, this time the creators retreat and take directing and making music, giving space to four young actors. Many years of experience allow the duo to create unique poetic compositions where poems, personal history and music blend into a seamless, emotionally strong process that has no analogues.
