On a quiet Monday morning, the owners of the cafe - sisters Angelė and Laima - receive a visit from a mysterious customer. The employees soon suspect that it is a tax inspector. Is this true? In any case, an ordinary working day turns into a chain of the most unexpected events and the calm routine of the day collapses in an instant.
Adding to the confusion is a charismatic employee - an emigrant from the Balkans, whose Lithuanian language sounds as funny as his ideas. Each character begins to propose their own "genius plan" to evade possible scrutiny.
And when the situation seems to have reached a dead end, the story suddenly takes an unexpected detective turn.
EXTRAORDINARY MONDAY is a fun, witty and intriguing comedy that will not only make you laugh, but also surprise you with unexpected plot twists.
