Contemporary dance performance I AM...
Two brothers, faced with a turning point in fate and history - the occupation of Lithuania - chose different paths: one became a partisan, the other - a partisan. Between them remained the sister who loved them both and their beloved. It is a story told by the grandfather of the play's choreographer, Darius Berulis, that took place in post-war Lithuania, and unfolds in a space covered with black earth, illuminated by lanterns, reminiscent of a night forest.
The performance invites you to recognize Lithuania in yourself. This family drama brings out common human experiences: inner contradictions, loneliness, betrayal, struggle for one's values. What would have to happen for your brother, sister, friend to become your mortal enemy? How to accept the choices of loved ones? How to protect them?
