Shoot, Joke, You're Dead is a contemporary play written by American playwright William Mastrosimone and performed in schools around the world. This play explores themes of identity, sociality, guilt and forgiveness, and is aimed at teenagers.

Plot of the play: the main character Josh is in prison for killing five classmates at his school. He is visited by the ghosts of his victims who torment him with questions about why he killed them. Josh refuses to regret, he is indifferent to both his former classmates and the outside world, he is closed and lives only in himself.

The director of the play, T. Baužas, says that this play is extremely brave and reveals the deep wounds of students who are going through various psychological problems: "It is like a mirror of ourselves, to which we are often afraid to look at. I invite you to focus for a minute and take a walk around the edges of our own self-forgiveness."
