Some of Lev Tolstoy's story "Creater Sonata" consider his best work, others contrary to his thoughts. In a scandalous piece, passionate love, jealousy and criticism of society intertwine.
A talk about love, women's situation, family conflicts and violence is established on the train. A long silent passenger opens up about his unhappy marriage. He married a much younger woman who fascinated him with the beauty and innocence of his youth. They were born five children. But the man is frustrated with love and marriage, as the couple's relationships have a lot of riches, controversy and strife. He confesses that he has been jealous and hatred of his wife's close communication and music with the violinist, killing her.
The confession of a man who killed his wife is told by the Russian literary classic, writer Lev Tolstoy in the story "Creater Sonata". Balancing between feminism and hatred for women, the writer touches on a number of topical topics: family relationships, gender equality, love, passion and violence. The published short story about the thoughts of marriage and family values, caused an international scandal, banned both in Russia and the US.
The Creaters Sonata, looking at people's relationships, love, sex, jealousy, paranoia, is reborn on the stage of Klaipėda Youth Theater. History depicts a conflict between sexual desire and moral constraints, raises questions that often silence, which are not answered or cannot be answered.
