"The smell of mom's cooking. The endless chirping of my sister. The smell of clean laundry. Grandpa's radio playing loudly. Grandma's stories while flipping through family photo albums. A hairbrush instead of a microphone for a living room concert. Mom's lipstick and necklace..." These are just a few of the memories that fit into the word HOME. We all feel and perceive home differently, but we all clearly know that HOME is much more than just
the place is for living. However, what happens to those for whom home does not evoke such feelings? What happens to those who whole
can't find a home in life? And not physical ones, but internal ones, which sometimes take a lifetime to build. The play tells the story of three teenagers growing up in an orphanage, who soon
will reach adulthood and have to move out to live independently. However, to everyone's surprise, the social worker announces the news - she will move in a newcomer. The domestic scenes of the play intertwine with the lives of people who have already left the orphanage. This performance
created based on true stories, when playwright Karolina Urbeni worked in a children's orphanage.
This is a play about the gift of natural love and the endless journey towards your HOME.
