Then the contours of specific feelings and emotions appear in it, which can already be named, accepted, released or allowed to be. It is possible that the darkness will not disappear anywhere, but you can always look for someone who will help you be with it, who will help you survive, who will lead you forward, who will be the counterweight of the light. Even your own body. Your own wonderful, dancing body. After all, the desire to live is determined by the desire to act.
"With the game of light, darkness, dance, words and music, we are creating a story about approaching, meeting the Other - someone who is difficult to grasp, but always very close," shares Dovilė Binkauskaitė.
"To turn to yourself is to see yourself in the content of your heart... Both light and darkness. We each have our own shadow - it is our fear, envy, mistrust, anger, disappointment, lack of meaning, doubts. According to C. G. Jung, the shadow contains that part of us that we do not recognize as our own, which we do not identify with and which we do not develop, we push away from ourselves, growing it even more. But the shadow - it's also a part of us. It's important to stop, recognize, and learn to be true to yourself. It's not easy, but it's the first step to liberation," notes Gintarė Radvilavičiūtė.
