FOOD GOODS | PREMIERE

The contemporary circus performance "Foodstuffs" explores the everyday life of a place well known to all of us, a simple Lithuanian store-warehouse. Although the foreground of the play is a humorous image of a grocery store with the characters in it, the play is about post-traumatic disorders and different people's attitudes towards the same life situations.

For the contemporary circus and interdisciplinary art organization "būda.collective" is an important identity of our country. The basis of this performance is the memories of the creators themselves from their native homes, so when you are in the "Grocery" store, you will encounter nostalgia and see a story about all of us! During the performance, physical theater and circus disciplines are used: juggling, manipulation of objects, quick change technique.
