However, an experiment promising a scientific breakthrough turned into a disaster. The new "man" named a polygraph Sharikov, which turns out, is not a carrier of culture and mind, and his behavior is not only rude and ignorant, but also destructive. "The Heart of the Dog" is one of Mikhail Bulgakov's most sharp and satirical works, which remains frighteningly relevant today. Bulgakov, the genius of the word, predicted the dangers of the blind faith in social experiments and the desire to "improve" the world at all costs.
The modern staging of the performance not only revives the classic story, but also gives it a new sound. The images of the characters, recognizable intonations of the era, the precise acting of actors and the highlighting storyline create a powerful stage narrative of human nature, power and morality.
