A story of rare beauty and an extremely emotional story about two families. Jack Cameron is a talented and famous writer, but, as is sometimes the case, he is a bit arrogant and biting, which few can stand. His wise and noble wife, Susie, is always there, even after death, when St. Peter keeps them both out of heaven's gates for Jack's insolence. As a result, the spirits of Jack and Susie wander between this world and the other world and are quite bored: their only entertainment is playing pranks and scaring those who dare to stay in their former summer house.
A young, newly married couple - Simon and Mary - move into the house. Looking for a way to family harmony, mutual understanding and love, they go through a series of comical and also painful moments. Will the young family pass the test sent to them? How will Jack and Susie "contribute" to the couple's strength and relationship? Why does a guardian angel appear in their house?
British author Pam Valentine's play, first performed in Canada in 2010, is appreciated for its well-aimed humor, ironic and ambiguous situations, and its moral: love never dies and never ends.
