The work of one of Roland Schimmelpfenning, one of the most famous contemporary German playwright, is reminiscent of the experience of viewing a kaleidoscope. Just instead of a multicolored glass pieces - fragments of reality, whose reflections create a sensation of dreaming with eyes closed, are in place. R. Schimmelpfenning became familiar to the audience of the Strange Theater in 2015. with dir. Giedrė Kriaučionytė's performance "Woman". The German playwright is now returning to this scene in the form of a performance directed by Agnius Jankevičius here and now.
For the first time, the plays presented to the audience of the Lithuanian theater, according to which the performance is based on the performance, is a game with a human to time ratio. One of the answers could be the uncertainty of the future, all the fears and hopes we try to lean on when we encounter what is unknown, whatever we plan, we cannot be fully predictable. And try to imagine an important, significant life -changing event where you would know exactly how your life will change. Suppose a wedding that tells you how the love of the newlyweds will end.
"Here and now" time opens up in a poetized absurd, comical dreamy, paradox -like reality, "relaxing" a person from future fears and hopes, because the future time here does not appear as an endless set of possible scenarios, but as well as what is known. All of this is like a mosaic at a fantasymagoric wedding celebration that, if you listen carefully, you would already hear the bustle around you.
