A woman and a man who meet every day at the same job. In a traditional job, from eight in the morning to five in the evening, in a small office where there is a constant monotonous clatter of typewriters performing one and the same action - writing the names, surnames and addresses of potential buyers on postcards. This is how Silvija Peyton and Polis Cunningham spend their days in one office. A woman and a man desperately trying to talk about what excites, saddens and even hurts in everyday dialogues. They recklessly believe that they will never have to do what they don't want to do, and that this daily "machine" printing on postcards is just a temporary job for them.
"Mašininkai" is a play about the desire to live differently, about the desire to escape from the shell of daily life routine at least for a while, and at the same time about the great fear of changing something in a settled life. This is a play about ambitions that are bigger than the man himself.
It is forbidden to take photos and videos during the performance. It is forbidden to bring food and drinks into the hall. Late spectators are not allowed into the hall.
