"Golden Apple tree, wine well" is one of the most beautiful and popular Lithuanian tales. It is a magical story of the stepmother's orphan. Like every tale of this type, there are plenty of evil obstacles: the wicked witch, along with her daughters, plagues the Virgin by assigning insurmountable tasks, but the good, with the help of magical forces, ultimately wins and liberates the orphan at the end of the tale and leads a young king.

The creators of the performance are impressed by the possibility of using video theater forms that are more belonging to the art of cinema than the theater. Although there are quite a few folk songs and sections in the tale, the narrative is created more in the performance. Spectators will see such a variety of popular visual theater tools such from ancient Greek times as panoramas, myrioram, diaorem, Tamatrop, Laterna Magica, Miriolaminic cards, as well as shadow theater.

“For the first time, I was operating this tale at the Stage Lovers' Society, Theatrical Initiatives (Premiere 18.12.1997). Then I also created scenography. At that time, Dainius Vengelis, an actor of Vilnius Old Town Theater, who played this mono -performance, concluded in 2009. According to that performance, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater was created by his diploma play (scenographer Neringa Keršulytė). Returning to this tale in the "doll", I relied on a collection of visual and optical metamorphosis (mechanical theater, diorama, Miriorama, Moire, James ladder, Laterna Magica, etc.).
