Mūza Rubackytė is a famous Lithuanian pianist, music educator and cultural figure. Born in a family of musicians, he was surrounded by music and talented artists since childhood. She studied at the then Lithuanian Conservatoire (now Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater) and Moscow P. Tchaikovsky Conservatoire, where she improved her craftsmanship.
M. Rubackytė has won many prestigious competitions, including the Liszto-Bartók competition in Budapest, and performed around the world. When she arrived in Paris, she won the 1st prize for the piano at the Les Grands Maîtres Français at the International Triptyque Association Competition.
She also actively participates in music education, organizes masterclasses and directs the Vilnius Piano Festival.
M. Rubackytė plays many classic pieces, and is especially famous as F. Liszt's music artist. In addition, he has published many CDs, including the Piano Music records of M. K. Čiurlionis.
The muse now lives between Paris, Vilnius and Geneva. International career encouraged it to perform recitals and concerts in the main scenes and festivals in France and five continents, where she met great conductors and well -known orchestras.
M. Rubackytė is often invited to become a member of the most prestigious competition in the jury and teaches internationally. She has won numerous awards for the dissemination of Lithuanian culture, including Commander of the Order of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas and the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize. The Hungarian Ministry of Culture awarded her through the Cultura Hungarica Prize and is the president of the Lithuanian F. Liszt Society Lisztuania.
2009 M. Rubackytė founded the International Festival of Vilnius Piano and is its artistic director. For this achievement, the city of Vilnius honored it with the highest award - St. Christopher Prize for Best Cultural Event.
The pianist's repertoire includes more than forty recitals, concerts with orchestra or chamber music programs, and its discography, which includes more than thirty -five names, is constantly growing. M. Rubackytė's repertoire includes music of various epochs and lands, and records have received extensive international recognition.
